Hi,
I’m new to this forum and not sure how to find an answer to my issue so I thought I’d ask it any way and see where it goes from here.
I purchased a 2nd hand 2013 150 very cheap due to not starting.
Battery is new and fully charged
Spark plug new, correct gap and getting spark when tested outside of cylinder against head. All dash lights come on, speedo needle goes to right then back down. All blinkers and taillight works.
Fuel pump cycles up and motor cranks over. Compression is good and within specs but it just won’t run.
Any idea anyone???
Can’t get 2013 150 to start

A short causing grounding somewhere maybe..
Everything looks better from the inside of a motorcycle helmet...

Spark plug gets wet?....showing signs that fuel is getting there through the injector?
Will it fire and run when starter spray used?
Valve lash checked?

How old is the fuel in it?
Did the bike come from a flood zone? (You don't have your location in your profile so I don't know where you are located.)
Check the air filter and the area around it.
An engine only needs 3 things to run: fuel, fire, air.

Perhaps try some easy start or similar, then you'll know it sparking, and you'll know its a fuel problem

Re: Can’t get 2013 150 to start
If the engine is in good condition compression should be a given, but in any case check those 4 things. I have had some problems with mine starting after it sat for a season. The battery seemed like it was charged enough, but it wasn't. The fuel seemed to be OK, but it wasn't. In the end, I charged the battery and added some Seafoam to the gas. I let it sit long enough for the Seafoam to settle into the gas and the battery to get a full charge. It started after a few cranks then.
