Possibly a helpful tip.. FYI

Recently I put on a new tire by hand and bolted everything back up and put it all together right ?? I ran the scoot and about 3500RPMs got a vibration.. A couple rides later the vibration got meaner and meaner.. Thought it was a bad tire or out of balance.. Decided to take it all apart again and guess what I forgot to tighten one bottom swing arm bolt behind the muffler exhaust pipe.I found it backed out about 1/2 inch.. Sooo morale of the story is for anyone having an unusual vibration check those swing arm bolts for proper tightness.Even though the other two were torqued it only took one loose one to affect ride quality.

Thanks Easy Rider...been there /done that. Also think it was you [not sure] that had the tip for cutting the tire all the way around [circumference]
to ease removal from the rim. Wow was that an energy saver! Leaves more energy for installing! Plenty of lube helps there. Also, if you
don't have tire changing equipment and have to perform tire removal/install on the floor...........remove you brake disk first. Probably obvious
but.....took a short cut......didn't work out. Lucky for me it was the PCX and not the Forza. PCX disc much cheaper.

Yes thats how I remove the tire.I just use sharp stiff serrated knife and simply cut across the rubber. No fighting easy takeoff and easy disposal. When you get to the steel bead use snips or cut off saw.

Either you are stronger or I need a new pair of snips...... Probably both. : ) Thought of using my dremel tool
but feared a slip/damage to the wheel. Probably a wood wedge would solve that?? Anyway, took my Buck
knife and cut the circumference of the tire [maybe 2-3 mins] and while not as effective as your method, it did
make removal much easier. Thanks again.

Dremel would work or any cut off saw with a circular metal cut off wheel .. I used a 4 1/2 inch cut off wheel for metal cutting. Like you said wedge something under the bead between rim and tire and in a second its cut .
