2016 PCX top speed!

Hello everyone,
Just bought a 2016 PCX 125 and its come to my attention that its top speed is around 60mph.
Due to the fact that I do long distance journeys this is a bit too slow.
Could I increase the top speed by purchasing lighter rollers? or perhaps an different exhaust?
Not looking to make it a speed demon :D but at least 65mph.
Please no comments telling me to get a bigger bike would rather make a small adjustment and keep this bike as I love it!

Where are you from? If your terrain is relatively flat, you might be ok.
Exhaust might give you 1 horsepower, but it's not enough to make the PCX a highway demon. Honestly there isn't much that will improve the top speed, unless you want to spend a lot of money. You can change some parts of the CVT transmission, not that expensive and easy to do, so that the engine stays at its peak power for longer but it won't increase the power needed for the scoot to increase it's drag limited speed.

If you want more power, then only the Big bore kits can satisfy that, but by then a bigger scooter might do the job better.

Welcome to our forum(s) dako :P
I'm in agreement with Gil's comment and suggestions.
But....we're gathering that You Want more....still.

So, my suggestion: is to put aside some time to research and read (most of us have time now due to covid19). Find our "Technical" and "Performance" Boards and browse through them looking for topics on More Speed (this is a very common question).
You will find topics with all the answers you're looking for....Plus photos!
One example: https://www.hondapcx.org/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=9546

We ask a favor of you now, that you go back to your profile and add your location. It helps us to help you now and in the future should you have (more :D ) questions. Easy directions are below my post to get that done.
Thanks and be Safe Always ;)

Once you provide your location, we can get a better idea of where we can point you for parts and recommendations.

My guess right now. On your location is that you are from somewhere in Europe. I say that based on the fact that you have a 2016 125cc. In many parts of the world 2016 PCX was a 150cc. I know there are regulations in Europe that make the 125cc version more attainable for many riders than the 150cc model.

I'm not sure how the extra 5mph will matter in a long trip but yeah you can try changing the rollers.

My 2016 pcx150 is standard and tops out at 63 or 64mph. I was told if I change roller weights I could get 67 to 69mph. Mine has givi 30ltr top box and touring screen. It is grey colour. Awesome scooters.

Change the Variator. Weights alone doesn't do much besides increase or decrease your acceleration.

Aftermarket Variator and driveface will give you taller gearing.

By changing the weights you can get the engine to rev to max power rpm (8300?) which will increase top speed on a 125 to 122kph or about 75 mph. Your weight may vary.

Larger drive face as you say will also help unless it raises the gearing to a point where the engine cannot rev to max.

Thats incorrect. You can get max RPM (hitting the rev limiter) with a bone stock bike. Heavier weights or lighter weights don't increase top speed. The amount of travel of the variator is still the same regardless of stock weights or heavier. An aftermarket variator is necessary.

Stock weights are usually very heavy to keep the RPMs lower during acceleration which in turn increases MPG.
