Forza 300 valve adjustment

So I'm on 24k km now and time for valve adjustment.

Not checked how much dealer here in Thailand charge for doing that (I've already done all the service, buying everything online and taking it to a local mechanic), what worries me is knowing Thais, even at dealers, rushing the panel removal and breaking clips here and there to get to the valves ...!

I read many people go on for double the recommended mileage and the valves were still in spec, so I thought we do a little survey of you guys here, when did you do your first valve check, and was it in spec, if not , out by how much ...? (although I guess dealers might not give that info...!)

Sold mine with 33,000 miles on clock, engine was running sweet like new.
Don't think the valve clearances were ever checked.

My 2014 has 148,133 km (92,045 miles) on it. I do not know if the valves were ever checked.

I do not trust the local mechanics to do the adjustment correctly.

They break the body panels removing them.

The engine was working perfectly when I tried reaching the rev limiter at 145 kmph.

23.000mls from new on my 2014 Forza NSS300 and never even looked at the valves. Bike runs as sweetly as when new...so my view is dont fix unless broken.

Second that motion! Think very few of us [Forza] owners will be fiddling with valve adjustments......... any time soon! Thanks Dave.

Right, it is not broken so do not fix it.
