Crankcase breather,it has a hollow screw where dipstick sits with hose attached that leads to 3way brass hose connector where the breather hose from the rocker cover plums up and on top part is filter. Any oil that gets blown out via rocker cover breather hose goes back down in to the crankcase instead of airbox....
Also further reduces crank pressure and keeps oil cooler by expelling hot gases quicker thus oil degradation slows which means oil stays in better quality and no oil loss between service intervals..
It works for me...
