Lost only key I had for my shutter-style 2016 PCX-150.
Can't even access the key slot.
(See pic below)

Should I just replace the entire ignition?
On the auction site, a complete replacement ignition can be purchased for about $40.
Any reason to think this would NOT work?
How hard to disassemble body and replace the ignition (ballpark)?

Any other suggestions?

Is it necessary to pop the seat?
Will I be able to access / disassemble to replace the ignition WITHOUT being able to pop the seat?!?
Any workarounds?

Should I break the steering lock? Can I do that with a nice hard twist?
Does anyone know how "desctructive" that will actually be?

I started taking apart the bike to replace the ignition - but I can't get to it! I need to disassemble.
But I can't disassemble with the seat locked
And I can't figure out how to pop the seat (even with the front access I have now)
See pics.

My other option is to roll the bike over to my mechanic - only three blocks away.
But the steering is locked - This totally sucks!
If I just break the steering - how much will I need to replace?

You can make your own magnetic key to open the shutter:

Then you could pick/break the lock.

Or just order a new key at a Honda dealer by giving them your VIN.
