Can someone please advise on the locking nut and square adjuster size on the 2012 PCX150 inlet and exhaust valves. I want to order a tool from Amazon, some list a 9mm nut/3mm square and others 10mm/3.5mm.
Many thanks.

Has nobody here set the valves on a 2012 PCX150 before?

Oh something like this? It took me only ~24hrs to fetch my valve adjustment tool out of my toolbox, take this picture, upload it and place it in this response.

Now let me go and look for my caliper

Patience is a virtue - wait am I on 'insta' board ?!?
The official tool as per the service manual can be found at
https://www.partzilla.com/product/honda/07908-KE90200
Wait for it...

Thank you for the info. I was considering one of these two from Amazon:
1.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083QGP7YD/?c ... _lig_dp_it
2.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09VY3RP7T/?c ... _lig_dp_it
It's quite possible both are wrong, hence the need to know the adjuster and square size.

Most people don't bother adjusting valves and the bikes run fine for years - mines 9 years old, still starts 1st time and rides perfectly giving 130mpg+ even in these colder conditions. Many say if the bike starts, rides and sounds fine - no need ripping it apart.

Yup…… I have about 8k miles on my Xmax and I’ve never adjusted the valves. Recently I had it in for a bad starter. I asked my Tech if we should adjust the valves, he said “ I’d be glad to take your money, but you really don’t need to do it, if it’s starting and running fine, leave it alone”… He’s a master tech of 20 years with Yamaha, and I appreciated his honesty.

@Ganglylamb, many thanks, I only get to see your response now. I never received a message notification from the forum.
