Bigger GIVI Boxes - Wind issues on highway?

I would like to add a GIVI top box, probably somewhat large, and was wondering if anyone has had issues when riding on the highway. Especially with the larger trucks flying by in the opposite lane. Does the wind come into play at all due to the larger box?

I get knocked around quite a bit by large vehicles and cross winds at speeds over 50 mph. It doesn't seem to matter if I have the Givi Box on or off the scoot. And, at 185 lbs., I'm doing my part to provide ballast. I accept that as just part of life on a sub 300 lb. scooter with the profile of the PCX.

geezy - so you are saying that it did not get worse one you added the Givi? You get bounced around the same either way?

Yes, but it could just be me being a novice rider. I live near the ocean and winds are pretty steady during daylight hours at 10-15 mph and gust to 20-25 mph. When riding at speeds over 50 mph (about 25% of the time for me) these gusts can make the ride very interesting. If I still feel a little uncomfortable riding in this situation a year from now I may look into a heavier bike. But I'm hoping with more experience this won't be an issue.

Bottom line, my PCX feels the same to me in wind with or without the Givi mounted.
