				Apologies if a thread already exists on this topic but I couldnt find one.
Can anyone give me the low down on servicing please.  I have the following questions:
1). How often does the pcx need servicing and why?
2). What is involved in a service and how easy is it to learn how to do myself?  Ive seen on youtube how to do an oil change (for other scooters, cant find anything on the pcx oil change) which seems pretty straight forward.  What else is involved?  Any tutorials on youtube?

				Lots of stuff on here about that but briefly:
1: official service interval is 2,500 miles but 5,000 miles is fine

				Get the service manual. Services on the pcx are easy, a bit time consuming though.

				6oo miles oil change and check ups and 2500 and so on ...but I came to a conclusion
Do a oil change every 5ooo miles and the rest Dont mess with if scooter riding and sounding fine...

Well it works for me. Fiddling and fitting aftermarket parts is what always causes problems

				Problem with aftermarket parts is the quality control.

				I had Motad exhausts on my GS850 and VFR 750 which were better than the originals.

How old are you!!
Gs850 was truly shite

				If you had ever ridden a GS850 you would know that it certainly wasn't shite, it was bloody excellent.
Well mine was, I toured all over the UK and Europe on it.
