My Butt Feels Good Now

I was not happy with the seat hump so I removed it. That left the part under the seat that the hump bolts to. That was not comfortable either, so after a month of debating what to do I got my dremel out and removed it. I added some foam and pop riveted a piece of sheet metal on the underside of the seat. I like it much better now.

Here it is minus the butt shot. You all don't really want to see that LOL. I need to paint the aluminum metal black yet so it blends in better. I also will get some seat material this winter and try my hand at recovering the entire seat. In the meantime I used some 1.5" electrical tape to cover the bolt holes. And the mesh seat cover hides everything for now....

I'm a bit late returning to this thread. Thanks for the side by side viewing. Seat looks great! It's Been about a month now, still comfortable? Is the mesh seat cover holding its shape (that is the one being sold on the forum...right?)
