new guy here, I rode my 2020 PCX150 yesterday and all was fine. it has been 57 miles since my last fill up of gas, today I went out and it turns over and over and over but will not fire.
so my thoughts are bad fuel? filled it 57 miles ago s it should be find.
spark plug... pulled it and not sure I like the looks so I went to 3 auto parts stores to find the NGK MR8K-9 plug and none of them can find it. so I called the local Honda dealer and he says it is not available. this seems crazy to me. I went to ngk.com and a search says not found. what's the deal with a spark plug.? I think I need help from the gang please

The plug may have been superseded by another part number.
I'd probably just buy a plug from my local Honda dealer and let them sort out the proper plug and number.
You can order this plug number, (NGK MR8K-9) but the shipping costs will probably be more than the cost of the spark plug.
"Revzilla" has it listed... along with a "related fitment" chart that covers the Honda PCX for 2019–2022-year models.... all show fitment for the same plug.
But if you pull up any of the other year model's parts list, they show a different plug/part number.
Here's a link to Revzilla's site for this plug. The 2020 Honda PCX part's schematic shows the plug (listed as part # 12)
The 2nd link is for the spark plug itself. NGK MR8K-9 is listed as Honda part # 31918-K97-T01.

Thanks for the help
I tried to add it to the shopping cart and it says out of stock
I called my Honda dealer and they said it is not available so I am going to take the old one to them today
It seems crazy it is this hard to get a plug
4 local auto parts stores say there is no cross reference for it and that they can’t order it

Most General parts stores dont carry bike plugs. Go to a powersports store.
Every site calls for a "CPR7EA9" so try that. Amazon next day delivery.

alternatively you can use ngk cr9ei or cr9eix. These are candles that are easy to find and they work just fine... See my pág.
