Folks - this is a very elementary question.

Can I wash the PCX with a hose ? I am always afraid I will damage something in the process. Any tips to quickly wash the scooter would be appreciated.

Most damage occurs when washing any vehicle happens when using a pressure washer.
If you look in your PCX's Owner's Manual under "Caring for Your Vehicle", Honda actually covers the does-and-don'ts for cleaning the bike... pretty neat.

Yes, you can wash your PCX scooter with a hose but avoid using high pressure and be cautious around electrical components the exhaust and the air intake. It is best to gently rinse and use a soft cloth for cleaning then dry thoroughly to prevent water from seeping into sensitive areas.
