Replacing body parts

Good Morning.

I bought my daughter a PCX 125 on the weekend. What an excellent little scooter! I am very happy with it.
The very very sad part is that she took a low speed spill and has grazed the entire right hand side of the scooter

I have been reading other peoples posts on this site and from what everyone is saying, if I take my time and use the correct tools I can replace the panels without TOO many problems.

My question however is this.
People have been commenting on how cheap the parts were and I couldn't figure out if people were using genuine Honda body parts? Or are most people using aftermarket parts? I have used aftermarket parts in the past with other bikes and have found the quality to be an issue so...

I really don't want to fit sub standard body parts to a brand new scooter only to find that the panels don't line up and the paint does not match etc etc.

Looking forward to some good advise :)

They were talking about genuine Honda parts which can be sourced cheaply if you search around.
I would counsel against replacing any panels for a few scrapes because there's every chance it will happen again...

Buy a decal to cover up the worst of it until she gets used to the bike. If she can do a month or so with no little blips then replace them.

She might like to personalise it and might want to keep the stickers!
