First ride in two weeks!

Just waiting for the wife to drive me up to the dealer after breakfast. I drove it up to have them install the Givi B33 trunk, trickle charger leads, and my permanent plate right before I left for vacation, so that they'd have it when all the parts delivered while I was away. We were in England visiting friends, and I even saw a 125 or two while there, plus so many other scooters in London. It's amazing how prevalent they are over there, and in Rome too when we were there two years ago, yet I rarely see them in a city like NYC or Philly. Guess there's something to be said for our "cheap" gas when compared to Europe! Can't wait to get it back and get in as much riding as possible before the weather turns to rain.

Still haven't decided if it's a he, she, or an it though; it does kinda look like an alien. But I paid for it with some Apple stock I sold off, so maybe I'll call it "Steve".

When a friend heard I bought a PCX, he referred to it as the iPhone of scooters ... so "Steve" sounds like a good name for yours.

So here's my baby with the new Givi B33 trunk. It *just* fits my laptop (Mac, of course ;) ), so I may even be able to commute on it. The red stripes along the side are red 3M reflective tape strips I thought I'd add for a little extra visibility - for the most part they blend in pretty well with the stock paint. Taking it on a test run for some groceries in a few minutes.

My wife had apparently already named it "Scoot", but that was too basic for me. She thought "Steve" was OK too, then we came up with "iScoot", which I quite like. So it might come down to "Steve iScoot", or maybe "iSteve McScoot", or "iScoot McSteve".

So many choices, so little time. BTW, that's my +15 y/o dog crashed on the lawn just over the seat.

Looking good & I like "scoot mcsteve", sounds like a character in "Cars".
Enjoy your ride & post this pic on the PCX facebook page.

Looks great Dustin. I thought my PCX reminded me of an Apple product because as soon as I got it I was spending, spending, spending on add ons.   Finished for now. Close up pic of your dog would be good too. Cheers. :D

Thanks Pedro! He's a bull terrier mix of something, we adopted him at a year old in 1999 from a rescue shelter. Pretty geriatric these days though, spending most of the time in bed or crapped out on the lawn as in the pic. Sweet as candy too, but there's nothing better than having that pit-bullish face come to the door first when a stranger knocks!
