Hi
I'm new rider, just took safety class two weeks ago, bought a used 2013 pcx with 766 miles on it
I got the RED scooter and saved about $1000 by getting it used
I plan to buy the extended warranty and the tall windshield soon

Just joined forum to meet other pcx riders and learn more about them

So far I have only practiced in a parking lot and around neighborhood. We have wet cold weekend so no scooter riding this weekend. :( Hopefully 4 day Thanksgiving weekend will be a little nicer

Welcome aboard, Sue. You made a good buy! Nice choice in scooter AND color! We are in the southern tip of the state - ugly weather the next few days here in the Tropical Tip, but it is supposed to be better before Thanksgiving. Depending on where you are in Texas, dodge the northers and enjoy the rest of the winter.

Welcome Lil red pcx! Congrats on the Smart buy! ;)
I agree, the weather is not being cooperative. Like here? It's fricking cold! Temp with wind chill factored in, is 11 degrees :o gusts up to 42 mph. What!?? I too am hoping for a few more warmer days before surrendering to nature. Practice when you can, stay warm and remember to stay hydrated (even in the cooler weather). Cheers, & have FUN! :P

Even if you end up parking it for the winter, I can tell you from experience that the PCX is a beautiful little scooter. Just keep the tires on the ground and you will grow to love it more each time you ride it. Eventually you will be like my wife, who can't wait till it is sunny and warn again so we can ride. She started off slow on her bike but has now put 7,000 miles on it in a year, and that is counting parking it during the cold and rainy days.
