Hi
as usual the crappy standard exhaust is starting to rust. been looking at the arrow all stainless steel system with the cat front pipe.
Has anyone got one of these systems, just wondering what its like/did it run ok? loud etc.....
really dont want a loud pipe or anything its purely a quality replacement, certainly looks good. finally would i have to disconnect battery to reset everything for the new pipe?
cheers all
ride safe

That looks identical to the JCosta exhaust, I wonder if they're the same and one is just rebadged...
You could respray your exhaust with flat black high-temperature paint. They sell it at hardware stores to use on gas grills... Then, get a trim piece for your exhaust cover. It'll look much prettier afterwards.
I know the JCosta pipe has a removable noise baffle. The baffle regulates the noise, with it in, it is supposedly just louder than stock. You may be able to email Arrow and ask them if theirs has the same.

Cheers maddie
ive been down the respray regularly route, and to be honest its a pain in the butt, taking it apart everytime,so wanted the exhaust as a no fuss replacement. the arrowstuff is good quality and comes with the db killer ,they also do a "cat" front pipe option as well which is what im going to order. As i said dont want noise so hope with the cat pipe and killer inserted it shouldnt be too bad and run ok,will post some pics when its sorted
cheers

Get a brush and a tin and you don't need to remove it.
There's also the Leo Vince to consider.

I agree. i've repainted mine 3 times but it starts rusting within a few weeks even after having followed all the paint instructions to the letter
I'm wondering whether I should just let it rust away or get a stainless system now, and keep the original to refit if/when I eventually sell the scoot. I could sell the stainless separately.

Wow, you guys must have shitty roads. I've got almost 5k on mine, riding most days, and not a bit of rust...

They salt the roads in the winter. Do they do that where you are?
