Leg wind deflectors - where/how to order?

Hello guys, I am looking for some solution of leg protection. I have Tucan urbano pants, but I would like to have some deflectors on bike itself.
I found something on japanese sites, but I don't understand how to order it from there (or if it is even possible) and I would like to ask you if you haven't seen it somewhere.
Links are here: http://minkara.carview.co.jp/en/userid/ ... parts.aspx
http://blogs.yahoo.co.jp/willyamabuu/31495131.html
With google translate I found it should be called "wide side visor" but I didn't find anything about it on non-japanese sites.

I love the look. Unfortunately, on the American version of the PCX, there is a turn signal post that sticks out there. I have just created a crude deflector for that area that attaches to the turn signal indicator. The ones in your pictures are much better and certainly pretty, but probably wouldn't work for us, darn it. I haven't tried Chrome yet but I understand that it will translate that page for you. Let us know if you learn anything more about it.

Lovely! Smokey 8)
Mel, is there any way to work our front signals into these deflectors? Custom cut outs with rubber based boots preventing leaks, air passage noise and wind/drafts? There's gotta be a way?
Best: Pull our blinkers off and get integrated signals or
Worst: (seen in a dream) Pull them off, insert batteries add some two face industrial tape and place them forward, or down a bit and forward? HoHum, tis a puzzlement.
They are a PITA! :x

It should be possible to make some holes into these deflectors for signals, but first we have to find a way to order them :)
I have EU version, so signals aren't a problem, but I am still searching for a shop. I wrote a message to the user from minkara site, I hope he/she will understand english and reply to me :)
I am surprised that none of bigger shops (i.e. powerbypcx) don't offer it yet. From the sites I see the photos were taken in 2012 and still nothing.

Until such time as when we find a way to even order those, which are beautiful, and yes I can modify them, here is my latest invention. They are easy to install and easy to take off. I call the Bat Wings, and yes, I invented them. Enjoy!

I like those. Chrome translates it as "ComeStock CS wide side visor".

+1 Mel,
You got the fever. It's contagious. Version 1.0 :D
I'm anticipating a version 2, then 3 before you finalize your design to your own liking.

These should work for awhile, but now that I have seen the ones brought up by illegal, I may investigate them further, and if I have to, I will create them, though I do not have the equipment needed to mold those. Still, these are a start and they do work. Creating the other ones will take me a bit of imagination, since we do have the extended turn signals. My wife says these inventions are awesome. I just think they are useful, and I love to think about problems and find solutions.

Interesting solution, but do they really work at higher speeds? I would say they are too far in front to protect legs (at this size). And I am also curious about pressure they generate on singals at top speed :)
But I am also fan of these little ideas and improvements.

I think I found it!
First I went to this site: http://japan.webike.net/products/20286382.html
The name is similar to what we are looking for, but it doesn't seem to be it on the photo.
So I looked for part Comestock PCC1001 and found some eshops with correct photo and price matching the price mentioned on one of the sites I posted earlier: http://item.rakuten.co.jp/moto-jam/2802127001/
http://mmall.jp/item/169853918
It looks like the webike shop used just first photo from "before and after" pair.
With shipping to Slovakia it should cost 93 € which seems to be a very good price!
I will do some more investigation on how to order it later, now it is time for some beer with friends :)

When I looked it up I came up with this url: http://japan.webike.net/bm/pl/Custom+Pa ... /p.b=1268/

By the looks of it there are some screws involved. I am not sure that I want to put any holes in my Tupperware.
As for my invention, all I can say is we will see. I haven't been able to get out and test it, but from my calculations it should work. The 'Wings' are curved back some on the top and bottom so that the wind resistance won't be too much for it. Also, Once the wind starts to push against it, I have a brace between the turn signal stem and the wing itself. The Velcro on the sides should offer resistance to keep it in place...but we will see once I can test the concept. The weather is still not cooperating.

All I can say about the comestock panels is it's too bad they don't come in our body color. Those smoke color ones would look great on black but would look mug better body color on the red.

Do the sell touch up paint for or body color pieces?

Well, I have started on version 2. I installed the left side this evening and took a picture or two. I need to make the right side next. Then, when spring arrives I will test it out, but I think it will work. I shouldn't have seen that picture. It gave me ideas. B-)

Please keep us updated :) I am very curious about the new solution.

OK, Version 2 is complete. Here are the pictures of my invention. Keep in mind that they are held on with industrial strength Velcro. I haven't tested them, but I am betting that they will hold. When you want something done right, just invent it! :-)

Looks effective. You'll have to let us know how it works when it gets warmer. :D

Version 2 looks great :) I would make them a bit longer, but I like this solution much more than version 1.
What is the price and shipping costs to Slovakia? :D

Home made is great. I can make things the way I want, without worrying about whether I have messed up installing it. Also, the total cost was less than $20. ;-). Of course, time is not part of that cost.

I'd rather spend time tinkering with my scooter than watching TV. If it's time spent doing what you like to, it's never time wasted, and always worth it. ;)

Mel, is that Plexiglas?

Of course it is plexiglas. I went to Home Depot and selected the size and thickness I wanted. I made a template using an old file folder. Then I cut the plexiglas using my Dremel. Great tool. I love mine. There is actually a bit for cutting plastic. Then I used my heat gun to bend the front pieces to where I wanted them. After that, I took the piece of plexiglas that I had cut out for the hole for the turn signals, bent it to the angle I needed for the front areas, and used industrial velcro to attach everything. It only took me a few days from concept to finished product. Each side is a reverse of the other, so I had to custom bend each piece to make sure they fit correctly.
