I'm a Dad!

Me and my wife just had our first kid. Noah was born on January 13th, 2014 at 7lbs 11 oz, 22" long.
My wife is recovering very well, far better than expected. Noah is eating well and has already gained over a pound since we went home from the hospital. He's supposed to gain 1/2oz to 1oz a day, so he's right on target!
Here's him only a few minutes after birth: Me and Noah, a few days ago. He's a long baby: And one more. He likes to hold things. Fingers, tails, blankets, whatever he can grab.
He's why I've been basically gone the last 3 weeks. Everything's settling back down now, and I'm back at work, so I'll be getting caught back up and more active here soon.
Maddie has been responding fairly well to him. At first, she was scared of the little guy (he's got a set of powerful lungs on him and can get a LOUD cry going), but once she realized he was harmless, she's been snuggling against him when I'm on the computer. They've learned to share my lap.
I think it'll take another few months until Maddie really starts loving him like she loves me and my wife, but that's to be expected -- he's basically a little poop machine at this point. All the fun baby cooing and crawling and playing is still another few months out.
Parenting has been tough so far, but Noah doesn't have colic, and lets us sleep enough. It's certainly the biggest adventure I've been on so far, and I look forward to every day I get to spend with the little guy.
