The following is from the really nice people of
Troop B, Post 7 of the GA State Patrol.
.
On GA Interstate Hwys,
No 50cc or smaller scooters.
Scooters on the Interstate must have a tag and be registered.
All vehicles on the Interstate must maintain minimum speed.
No other restrictions
.
So in Georgia, all PCX scooters are good. :D

That's good news to Mel, he was worried about that.

Minimum speed on interstate highways in GA is 45mph, so we're good to go.

I ride mine on the highway regularly, and while I haven't exactly been concerned about it, it's good to know I won't get a ticket now. :D

That makes me feel much better. I thought it would be ridiculous if the State Patrol set a cc limit instead of a horsepower limit. 50 cc's is a standard limiter on interstates. If they set a limit of 200 cc's, which is what I heard they were doing, it would not take into account the horsepower new engines can put out. Heck, our 150 can go faster than the old VW bugs!...I don't see a sign restricting them, though!
