Strange cutout

Okay, I've had my PCX 150 since June 2013 and never paid any attention to or looked here, but does anyone know why there is a hole cut out here?

Could that be for the alarm system for the non U.S. models?

Its the sight aperture for checking the combi brake reservor fluid level.

Don't worry I asked the same thing before on the forum. It's for the brake fluid level
