Hole in exhaust?

Can someone have a quick look at their silencer box for me please?
On mine at the front of the silencer at the bottom just underneath the connection to the downpipe there is a small hole.
Does yours have this?
Trying to find out if its a drain/vent or if mine has rusted through already.
