Idle/Stop doesnt function properly

Hi All. Long time lurker, first time poster

Yesterday my PCX just changed. The idle/stop function decided NOT to cut off engine at lights and instead keeps running. it went from a flat neutral, to now when in neutral wants to roll forward, ever so slowly

this has caused 3 dilemmas and i dont know if good or bad or just natural break in, or battery related to the idle/stop feature

1. it now takes longer to stop. because when slowing down natural friction of the road and weight is restricted by the bikes tendency to roll forward when stopped. when i release throttle it feels like bike is still in gear and wont stop naturally. i actually have to brake harder than before

2. it now accelerates like a ferrari and purrs like a sports car and rumbles when im at the lights. i can feel the bike wanting to just go forward. im on the brakes obviously

3. Idle/stop doesnt work. the ligth is on, but the bike decides to not cut the engine and just keeps purring, and purrs alot more than it didnt prior to this moment. ive now turned off idle/stop because its just not working

is this natural break in, or could this be a clutch/belt issue or battery issue

ive done approx 1800kms and had its 1st service at about 1200kms

No, your scooter has a major malfunction.
Impossible to tell exactly what, but there is definitely something wrong with it.

Whatever the cause, it all seems to be due to the accelerator always being slightly on. I wonder what adjustments there are for the cable attachement - best get it to a dealer as this sounds very dangerous.

Sounds like the throttle sticking to me. If your not sure how to check it yourself, seek help from the dealer.

Thanks alibally. It was the throttle sticking. I opened the throttle n closed with 3 quick pumps and this seems to have reset back to default. Everything is back to normal. Cheers

If it does it again it might need looked at. Lubricate the linkage at the engine end as it might be a bit dry.

For future reference, this can either be caused by the throttle sticking or a defective clutch. Either way, it's a major issue primarily because your safety is on the line. I highly recommend anyone in this situation take the bike to a reputable dealer to get checked for your own safety. Even if the issue goes away, it could reoccur at an inopportune time.
