Tax

Hey,

Im in the UK and I got my new/used PCX,
I bought this on the 28th May, Tax ran out on the 31st May,
obviously now being the 3rd June I need to get it taxed asap to use.

I haven't got my new/updated V5C book back yet,
read it could take a few weeks for them to send it to me,
but I need that to renew the Tax Online or at a Post Office,
and obviously needs to be in my name and have my address,
but again, I need the Bike taxed asap.

I have got the V5C/2 slip (green slip) though...
obviously MOT isn't needed as it's the 2013 model,
so can I take this small slip with Insurance papers to the Post Office?
or is there anything else I need?
as I read about a V11 reminder form?
but im the new owner so wont have the reminder form.

Can someone get back to me asap about this,
as if the V5C/2 slip and Insurance papers are enough,
then I can go to my nearer Post Office with the £17.

Thanks.

If you go to the online tax site and put in the info you have it might let you tax it if your insurance checks out. There is a number to call there to do it all on the phone so a human being may well be able to sort it out for you! ? Hope this helps.

Hey,

Thanks a lot for the info,
i've managed to do it now,
downloaded and printed the V10 form,
took that with the V5C/2 slip and old Tax Disc,
plus Insurance papers.

Sorted :)

Good. If there was any doubt just visit the local post office and they should put you right.
