Exhaust pipe options

Excuse me if this is in the wrong section but i thought this is best fitted.

I have been looking at getting a new exhaust for the PCX i am picking up on Monday and saw one i liked (some say it looks stupid) but it states not suitable for ESP models.

Can anyone confirm the reason this could be? Here are the ones i am looking at in order of preference:

Can anyone make a recommendation? My target budget is under £150 / £200

Thanks :)

The esp engine is different from the earlier one. The rear section of the exhaust might be the same but where it bolts onto the head not. The engine mounts are in different places as well.

Well the first one would look out of place on an ocean liner! :o
The second one might look OK :|
The third one is a cheap chrome plated shiny job.

I think you need to modify your search to units for the 150 as that will ensure it fits properly. The most popular here is one called OVER it is like the third one on your list but does work. There are lots for the 150. I'm partial to GPR but there are many others.

This being said it is a very personal thing. I now look at performance gain not necessarily aesthetics? Says the guy who had a megaphone exhaust on his Lambretta  Which I did eventually change to a proper reverse cone jobie, honest!

Look at takegawa for your exhaust. They actually make power on our bikes. Even on top end. I believe the silent sport makes 1-1.5 hp. I run the FIcon2 fuel controller with the exhaust and it makes a difference you can feel. Takegawa actually has dyno tuned fuel maps pre programed for our bikes.

Thanks for all the feedback. At this stage i'm looking at show rather than go. I have always wanted a show bike so the plan at the moment is a small stretch and lower it, Silly exhaust Jap style and leds.... There are a few bits i havent mentioned but all will become clear soon enough....

That last one is prob fairly loud. Silent Sport Oval (middle one) should do. )

What about an Arkrapovic exhaust? Too loud? Has a deep Rumble and (imo) looks nice on this 125

this is fake acrapovic from Thailand, it is around $150 there. Same pipe may carry different badges: yoshimura, acrapovic, whatever.. Sounds good but no any engeneering and it will rust.
Take takegawa! nice and cheap, not ugly looking as many others. Arrow is nice also, comes with the catalyc conv.

It's had getting cheap exhausts online shipped to the UK as the postage costs so much! Has anyone just cut their old exhaust of and put a universal backbox on?
