I've been trying to come up with an idea for "subtle" pin stripping for mine, but nothing seems to work. Of course, there are not enough of them around here that I really need to differentiate mine from others. Would be nice if we get some different base colors.

Try AutoZone. You might find something inexpensive that you can play around with to see if you want something more permanent. I did that with mine and decided I liked it better with nothing added. I was out $5 or $10, but it was worth it just to learn what I wanted ... and what I didn't want.
