New rider, question about tire blowouts

Hi. Had my PCX 125 for about 3 months now. I'm new to two wheels on the road having just taken the CBT training before getting the PCX. I wonder how many long term scooter/bike riders on this forum have suffered blow-outs whilst riding, say at 30-60mph and how they coped? Hopefully it won't happen to me and I rarely go above 40 in the city, but if the worse happens, how easy is it to keep control and pull over rather than something bad happen (skid out of control, cross lanes. etc)?

Are scooter/bike tires designed to cope better in such circumstances than car tires - even the stock tires look thicker and harder than car tires.

Tubeless tyres tend to deflate fairly slowly, its unlikely that you would get a situation where you would lose all your air pressure instantly.
As an example, a few months ago I was riding under a bridge in town when I heard a very loud pop.
Two miles later when I got off I found a large bolt stuck in my rear tyre.
The ride had been completely unaffected.
After I finished work eight hours later the tyre was still fully inflated and I rode it to a shop to get it repaired.
There are other much more dangerous things to concern yourself with than punctures, which are out of your control anyway.

Thanks!. Yeah, as a car driver things are so bad in London now - a large percentage drive so badly you have to keep a look-out all the time. On my scoot I play safe and keep a look-out all around me but have had a few scary moments due to idiots in cars, lorries and buses.
