The Honda PCX / Forza / ADV150 / SH Forums

I have had two PCX's over the last three years. I thought it was what I wanted but just too small and not enough power. Bought a BMW 650GT last night. Should be a nice compromise between a super bike and a scooter.

Hope you got a good one, there's been a fair few reliability/quality control/manufacturing/design issues on those.

But otherwise, they're great!

I was surprised how small these bikes actually are. In pics I imagined them being huge.

Are they really that small? They're certainly quite a bit bigger than your standard scooter(thinking Vespa or Piaggio here). When I first saw one at the dealer, I thought I was looking at the Forza until I saw that hump on the back.

You had to buy 2 Pcx's to figure out they were small and under powered?

Good luck with the Bmw. They are definitely a good looking scoot.

In pictures with it standing alone, I pictured it damn near the size of a Goldwing. In pics with an actual rider on it, it looks much more "normal" scooter. Maybe Forza, Burg400, etc (Mid-sized Maxis).

And take three years???

I had mine less then 6 months and most of that was in storage and I found out that it was too small for me. Now I'm just waiting to get some money together and I will be moving on to something else. Although I do love my PCX.

Looks like a nice one... I just got my pcx last month and been breaking in the engine lately. Finding... I wouldn't mind moving into the motorcycle category in 6ish months.

I thought the same thing... two motorcycles later, I'm on a PCX.

Although I will be purchasing a larger "do it all" scoot in the future, or purchasing a larger bike while retaining the PCX.

We are planing on keeping the PCX after we get the new scooter for my husband to ride during the warmer winter days as the other scooter and his motorcycle will be in storage. I'm sure that I will still ride it around town too.

Just watched a you tube 6 month review of the GT650 (too expensive and not economical for my needs, but I did like the photo posted here so looked into it a bit more) - a good bike but let down by mpg and service costs - quite high compared to most other high performance scoots. But if you need more power for highways and such, and still want a scoot rather than a bike . . .
