Thanks. Still think if i can avoid it a top box will ruin the look.
Having said that my Caberg Konda helmet doesnt fit under the seat...

Yeah, I wish Honda allowed the depth of the under storage be just a hair deeper. Both of my helmets fit and the seat shuts, it's just not fully closed. You can definitely see it straining towards the front.

I guess they just expect everyone to wear 1/2 or 3/4 helmets?

Very nice! Thank you for sharing the pictures! How do you like the seat?

Although I have ridden the previous model, I haven't owned one, so don't feel the difference although I am told it is better.
I am only 5ft 8 so not gonna be so affected by short seat.
Also only driven ca. 70km so far so really not put it to test...

Nice scoot - enjoy! Mines a white one, that is, when it's not getting covered in crud with all the rain lately :) Just sitting on the 2013 model in the showroom the hump was very evident but that may bias due to having read most peoples reaction on the forum, but the new seat seems very comfortable, although I cannot fit my large Box helmet under the seat.

Only issues so far over two weeks:
- just on one ride home, a bad burning smell all the way home and when parked on the drive, this was in the wet and having to ride very slowly at times and stopping more than usual (never hard on the breaks!) The burning rubber smell seemed to come from the exhaust area, but no idea why that would be or if it was the belt or something else. Strangely, although I still get 127-130mpg on the gauge, since that 'burning smell' scenario the gauge has always shown a bit less than it did every day since new and before that incident (with tank at same fill level) - 127-130 compared to 133+. Only a bit less and still great mpg if true, and it may be completely wrong until I can fill up again for a manual reading, but the drop happened straight after the ride home with the burning smell.
- sometimes a slight vibration/rattle noise when idling which goes when I rev up on the throttle - seems to come from the front but no idea what it is as everything seems to be fixed properly and not loose - dash, fixings, etc.

Other than that the bike rides like a dream.

Hey iceman. Have you looked for any residues on your exhaust pipe? I had something drip and melt on my pipe once. Took me ages to identify where the smell was coming from

I've not seen anything other than road crud from wet roads, perhaps there was something between the exhaust and the plastic cover.
