My experiment today was to see how far my PCX 150 would go once the bar started blinking on the fuel gauge. Cruising at anywhere from 25 to 55 mph I got 33 miles.

A worthy experiment. Thanks. Blinking fuel bar always makes me a bit nervous - nice to know I can go more than around the block five times before I'm stranded.
I assume you had a reserve bottle to continue your journey?

Did it sputter and give some advance notice as you ran out, or did it just up and die?

When my PCX ran out here was no warning at all.

It is nice to know how far it will go with the light blinking. We haven't run out of fuel yet but we have started looking for a gas station once it started blinking. I am conservative so I tell my wife that we have a maximum of 25 miles left. Like most women I have known she will try to push it to 30 miles. Glad to know it can go a little further than that.
