GASS (Greater Atlanta Scooter Society) went for a ride this weekend, and so I tagged along. We went way up Highway 411 to Chatsworth, GA, then rode down 52 past Fort Mountain, Ellijay, and Marble Hill. It was lots of fun.

We met at the Red Mule in Marietta (great food there), filled up with gas, and left to go riding.

On the road:

Looks like a fabulous day for a ride out.

Hey, you were the one who just called the day "fabulous."

She's a girl dog, so she gets a girly bandanna sometimes. I put it on her so the harness she wears doesn't chafe her as bad.

Ah, girl dog, that explains it.
Suddenly it all makes sense, which is just "super".

Yeah, the PCX was tiny compared to the bigger bikes there. All were 250ccs or higher, other than me and the red Aprilia (which was a 200). I had no problem keeping up, much to the surprise of the rest of the riders. At first, they were skeptical about even letting me tag along when I told them it was a 125. I was the 2nd scooter out of the convoy, and me and the lead scooter had to pull over often to wait for the other riders. The PCX can move! :D
