I just purchased my first scooter a couple of weeks ago a 2013 PCX-150. I found her used at a Honda dealer with 368 miles and went for the used one over a brand new one to save a few bucks. I bought it on a Friday night and then had my wife drive me back on Saturday morning so I could ride it home. Well first of all on the way over it started to rain, so we went shopping for an hour for the rain to blow over. The rain blew out so we went to the dealer and after going over everything with the salesman I decided to make the 25 mile trek back home. I made it about 6 or 7 miles when I felt the first drops of rain again. So I happened to be riding by a park so we stopped (my wife was following me in the car) to wait out the rain again. Once the rain stopped I got back on the road made it another 10 miles or so and it started pouring out. No place to stop...so I road in the rain with no rain gear. Rode for a few miles in the pouring rain by now I was soaked to my underwear! I found another park with a shelter house and parked under it to wait out the storm again. I was drenched, soggy, and cold. I had my wife run home and grab me some dry clothes while I waited under the shelter. Once again the rain stopped and we headed towards home. It sprinkled on me a little but I wasn't stopping and finally made it the rest of the way home. Later that afternoon the rain finally moved completely out of the area so I cleaned up the scooter and went for another ride....That was my first day of scooter ownership!
