How would you like taking your dog for a ride?

Hey, I'm serious
.
We have a couple of Yorkshire Terriers at home. Both females. One weighs 4 lbs, the other one doubles that. Before we had a couple of American Staffordshire Terriers, male and female (big change, I know
) but those have, sadly, passed away long ago.
Thing is, I usually transport my dogs in my car, but now that my PCX is my daily urban commuter, I thought about the possibility of taking them for a ride. So I googled "transportar perro en moto" which is Spanish for "transporting a dog on a motorbike", and it came back with some funny stuff.
First off, you can actually order a proper transport bag for dogs. Here's an example:

But there alternatives, watch:

This thread in the Ducati Monster forum made me laugh. The girl with the backpack and the pomerania was funny enough. I disliked the guy with the boxer "standing" on his bike. Unsafe for both of them.
This kind of "doggy top box", doesn't look that bad, though:

Thing is, the bag looks like the most sensible option to me. However, I'm not sure if I'd eventually get it, and just leave the dog at home if I take the PCX. I wouldn't ever forgive myself if I had an accident and the dog got injured or killed as a result. Dog owners will understand. You get to love them that much.
But, well, I had some fun with those pics. Perhaps you also did
