Reminder to check your oil!

Hey kids. Just a reminder to check your oil. I put on a pod filter and have the crank vent exposed to atmosphere (no catch can, etc) and it seems to be puffing a lot out the crank vent under sustained high speed operation. Maybe the lower weight rollers have a little something to do with that as well because they raise the rpms higher and more rapidly than the stock weights. Normally, the crank vent (or valve cover breather; not sure which it actually is) plugs into the front of the airbox, so any oil would collect in there and just not be seen.
Anyway, our engines hold less than a quart of oil so just keep an eye on it! I lost a significant amount on a freeway trip that was 240 miles long at 70-75mph the whole way.
As far as me now, I need to make a "catch-can" but it can't mount anywhere to the body since it would be getting tugged on. Needs to be fixed/mounted somewhere to the engine. Must be able to "breathe" also, so not a hose going into a sealed container. I'll let you guys know how much oil I'm losing once I get this done in a few days or whenever.
