Hi, Guys & Gals........

I have a question for you, is it possible to run with side lights and main beam together?

"I noticed by chance the other night while riding home, where i live! NO STREET LIGHTS. and when i went to put on the main beam i half pressed the switch and both main and running lights came on and lot more of the road was visible."

next time i get a chance i will take a photos, so you can see!!

Both sets of contacts were made live when half pressed, but it would seem you would need a re-wire job (or new switch) to do that - but fuse rating for the circuit will need checking, esp on a bulb higher wattage PCX.

That is why i put some extra lights on mine, like Maddiedog did. They have a separate switch, so i can choose when i want to turn them on...and they have their own inline fuse.

I assume you mean the high beams and the low beams at the same time. I wonder if this would cause a heat issue with the bulb or the plastic housing?

I wondered that. What amp rating could the earth cable take on the bulb? Could it handle double the current?
