I think they both come in the size he needs, they're different colors of the same helmet!

The pearl (2nd one) would match much better. What model is that, I'll need a new helmet sometime soon, and the one you posted looks modular (flip-up) like the one I have now.

Can't really tell from the images but is the pearl one a matt or satin finish?
A bugger to keep clean if it is.

It's probably glossy, most HJCs are.

It's HJC CL II MAX - modular. Yes, same size. I've tried them in the store.
I've ordered regular white - 138$ from amazon. It is modular. The pearl one was 10$ more expensive and I think a little less noticeable. I guess it will be a little mismatched with my future PCX. Thanks for the reply GN2. TC, Maddiedog.

It won't be too bad -- I have white rim stripes on my PCX, and you don't really notice the color difference unless you look close or are looking for it. The white one will work fine.

My current helmet is a HJC CL-MX in silver, got mine from Amazon too. I didn't know they had made a new version already!

I had my heart set on a certain helmet but it didn't fit well so I got another that did even though it was a design and colour I didn't like! I don't care now as it fits so well! I don't think the normal white would be noticable unless you ride with your helmet resting on the bike and someone is looking for it.

mine was a HJC too (is-max bt) and it matched the bike perfectly. Had a black strip down the middle that made it match even better.

Cool, thanks guys. I will write a review on it once I have it for a while. I looked at it in the store and the latch is metal. It looked nice inside also.I missed the Bell Revolver when it was on sale for 99$ in my right size and color. Now it's for 79 and only small silver and xsmal sizes left.

First you choose the helmet that fits you best ... and then you order it in pearle white, matching your pcx.

Old thread but I'll play. Other's may still want to know.
I had to make that choice when I bought a Shoei Qwest FF. Was it going to be Pearl White or White? I assumed the Pearl color to be creamier (for lack of a better word) so I chose the White. Have no idea about the HJC color chart though, sorry. My opinion is to Go White. Seems a cleaner match, and you just might be seen better by that almost blind driver.

See me below, it's around 8pm sun setting in FL. Wearing a lot of black with quite a bit of high reflective material sitting on my White scoot with that White Shoei lid. The White pops from Top to bottom. Others (should) see me and get an idea of how Big I am on the road and the space I require (if they care). Do I Make sense? Just my thinking, anyway. Do the best you can at being safe. Let it Show

To take it from a newbe in scootering and motorcycling, yet an I might say experienced as a car driver...

That makes the difference... exactly the reason for me getting a white PCX and a white helmet.

Especially being my first one!
