There won't be too many of these days in the next few months. The new Forza did fabulously. A stop for lunch and another ride! :P It will be an interesting comparison with being able to swap back and forth to the PCX.

Does yours not have the opening seat with storage area inside...?
And someone's got to be annoyed that a road has been built through his shed.

 That picture is to justify a top case to my wife. After going hog wild on PCX accessories she is trying to hog tie me a bit on the Forza.

GN2 - how do I flip the odometer to metric on this beast?

Joking aside, what is the purpose of the "shed" over the bridge? Why not just have a bridge?

I didn't have a clue and they are all over the Midwest.

"The purpose of the covering is to protect the wooden structural members from the weather."

Sandy Creek Covered Bridge boasts the picture-perfect appearance of an old red barn. It was one of six bridges built in 1872 to allow passage from the Jefferson County seat of Hillsboro to St. Louis. John H. Morse built Sandy Creek Covered Bridge using the Howe-truss design, named for William Howe. Howe patented his design in 1840, which featured the use of vertical rods to draw wooden members tight against the top and bottom of the bridge. Three of the four remaining covered bridges in Missouri were built using the Howe-truss design, including Sandy Creek, Burfordville and Locust Creek covered bridges.

The cold front went through and it went from a high of 70F at 1pm to 34 F just now heading to a low of 22 F tonight. Monday looks ugly but Tuesday and Thursday are looking good.

Ours is looking up. 60s during the day, and high 40s at night. 40% chance of rain this coming Saturday though.

Believe it was to prevent the horses from being frightened.
They just completed a nice new one in my coffee village...to cross OVER a yuppie bike trail.
Hopefully somebody donated all the materials and labor....and the village didn't pay for it.
Maybe a project to teach youngsters to use a hammer and saw....
I will ask the hippies in one of the coffee shops....
