I mail ordered three of them (just the Jrs) for about $20 each and the fourth I got at Wal-Mart but it was $34 there. What a rip.

This one is a 12volt - 1.25 amps so maybe not good for scooter battery but still I thought it a decent price. Do we have 12 volt batteries in our PCX's?
Thanks, then it's fine Went ahead and used a lead that came with it to hardwired to the battery. It promptly cycled through a short charge and then went into maintenance mode. I guess you can leave it on and forget about it until spring, don't really know as I haven't used one before. Interesting device, if you cross terminals it doesn't spark, If you cross connect it just gives a red light. I guess if it sensed I was putting it on a 6 volt battery it would have corrected me It's a battery charger for dummies!

It may think a 6v battery is a 12v is bad condition and start upping the volts/amps - not sure how that would work (unless it can make sense of the charge curve and suss it's not a 12v battery) or best to avoid using a 12v charger with 6v batteries!

That is great dear and I am happy that you got your problem fixed. My Honda eu3000is generator is working great till the day I bought it. I have replaced it with my older one which was giving issues of supply since long time.

TIA
At the bottom of the front end of the luggage compartment you will find a small panel that you can pop up with a small screwdriver (it has a plastic hinge so it doesn't come completely out). This exposes the positive terminal of the battery (covered by red protective cap). Move the cap out of the way and hook the positive clip of the Battery Tender to it, and the negative clip to a ground point...the bolt head of the seat hinge works fine. Have had one hooked there now since December.
