Hi, i'm trying to do my insurance quote on my new bike, i know my bike does have some security features ie- locking handle bars and ignition key cover, could someone please tell me what this is actually called for my security options on my quotes.
Thank you.

These are just standard features which you do not need to list on the insurance proposal.

I think they call those 'features' useless. We all wish that these would be enough, but there have been others here who have had thieves break the plastic panels and bypass the security features, though the bike didn't look great afterwards. But the thieves usually dump the bike after it runs out of fuel. Consider an external security brake disc lock with an alarm. Don't forget to add some reminder for yourself, so you won't forget and try to ride with the lock still attached.

Honda calls them "Steering Lock" and "Ignition Key Cover". It will be interesting to see if those features get you a discount. It is worth the try. My insurance company did not give me a discount for them.

They won't.
UK bike/scooter insurance companies only give (very small) discounts for decent quality oem/aftermarket immobiliser systems and proper aftermarket security locks on 125 scooters.
Once these locks/immobilisers are listed on the insurance proposal they must be used at all times for the insurance to be valid.
Which can be a real nuisance.
