Mount it with two sided tape just below the reset button.

Mines still on the bars and routes down the steering column. Until I find a better place I guess it will be a permanent accessory. Go ahead click on my video and FEED ME
My valve adjustment video is going to rack up some serious hits this year

I used velcro to fasten the tack. I like the position because my eyes can see my speed in relation to the RPM with ease. Put it on last weekend and am very happy with it so far.

Thanks everyone. I kind of like the third one so far. I was actually considering a center handlebar mount but I like below the speedometer.
I guess running the wire is a pain?

It was not too hard, I removed the windshield, the electrical cover below that and the gas door/ pannel. Then I was able to fish the wire thru with ease. Check that the wire into the tack is sealed. Mine was not and I could see the two wires when I flexed the joint. Thus I heat shrunk the connection for extra water resistance. Good Luck

Thanks. I have tons of black heat shrink and have had all of that stuff off before!

Well the wife picked the tach location on the handlebar. No wire will show then. Women.

Tell her it has to work good. Not look good. You have to take your eyes far down, off the road to see it on the bars. Rpm versus speed is the pertinent information that you need.

Here is my view in the normal driving position. I can move it up an inch with the mount I am using that is a phone mount too.

As luck would have it my wife is getting a Galaxy Note 4 on her upcoming upgrade (it holds my large phone as well) so I needed the next larger phone holder (not nearly as large as that photo makes it look ). Anyway the tach aligns perfectly for viewing. Some Velcro and nylon ties. I am planning a quick disconnect with the bag of wire harness terminal connectors I got off of EBay for the Forza's Givi lights.
My view of the tach. Turning it blocks nothing.

Thanks for the inspiration, dudes.
I quickly bought a TTO tach and copied Mike's mounting position.

Can you hide that wire?

I'm thinking one might be able to mount it behind the "glass" and drill a hole behind the tach for the cable.
Fortunately I'm the only one who rides my scoot so the only complaint I hear is that I have wasted money on unnecessary shite.

It's a neater fit than a round analogue Rev counter.

I ordered the smaller phone holder like on the Forza (sorry honey). We can switch them out easily but the big one bothers me. Added the quick disconnect to the Koso.

I installed the tachometer behind the windscreen,
no cable in front of the dashboard and better protection from the rain.

Look ma no wires! I went to the regular size phone holder. It is just Velcro so it comes right off with the disconnect for phone/GPS use. I created a second wire w/ connect for using on my other power sport vehicles.
