Hello everyone..... New to the forum. Just recently purchased a 2014 Forza (new leftover) Will be picking it up Friday. This will be my 1st scooter, although I have ridden dirt bikes all my life and currently have a Suzuki DR650. Looking for something more comfortable and always wanted a scooter. Really looking forward to riding once the weather cooperates here in central Pa. Been reading the forum for awhile now and all the info here helped me make my decision on the Forza.

Thanks
Ty

Welcome! I am looking at getting a Forza. Saving up and waiting for a good deal. How much did you end up paying for the leftover?

I'll go ahead and say that you made a good choice picking the Forza as your 1st scoot.
I know, FRIDAY just can't come quick enough ;)

Being a neighbor to PA, I bet your weather has been about as loverly as ours :| Rough winters the past few years. Are We Ready for Spring! Oh yeah....Bring it on!

In case it's helpful...

My dad bought a leftover '14 non ABS Forza not too long ago.

He got what I considered to be a pretty aggressive deal on it. I think he paid $3700 or $3800 plus $200 in dealer fees or freight. I seem to recall his total bill was $4200 or $4300 range after sales tax. I've seen a few Forzas on Cycle Trader in the $4k range now and again, so seems realistic to be able to reach that number if you look around.

This was in central Pennsylvania, roughly mid to late November timeframe, I think. Dealer told him that Honda had made available a bunch of leftover unsold Forzas to dealers at reduced wholesale prices, hence their ability to sell them that cheap on the retail level.

Just picked up the Forza..... $4000.00 out the door. They even threw in a ramp so I could get it unloaded. Wish I could take it out today but, it's only 18 degrees here. A little too cold for me lol. Will post some pictures when I get the chance.

Where did you find those prices? Even on all of the web sites (like cycle trader) I see $4k but after fees and delivery they are all about $4500 OTD to my door. My local dealer now is at 4500 plus 200 fees but will negotiate to 4500 OTD. Shipping is typically 250-300. He said they are dropping about $200/mo at this point to sell before they will order a 2015 which are identical. Now is the time to buy.

I actually am really good friends with the salesman that sold it to me. I know I got really lucky on the deal as I've been searching everywhere and the best I saw was $4300-$4500. I guess I owe him big time!

WOW! o_O
Wish I could find a deal like that but it won't happen here. On a new one the best I could get would be MSRP plus tax/title/license. If it was a left over they might go a little bit lower but not much. Of coarse they have never had a Forza and probably won't since scoots don't sell very well here. The local dealer never sells low because they have a monopoly! It is 200 miles to the next closest shop.

I am hoping one will show up on craigslist within a 250 mile radius{4 big cities - one in each direction}. That is the only way I will get a good deal.

$4500 out the door seems to be a good deal if OTD means including sales tax. My dad paid 2 or 3 hundred less than that, but he stole his and was in the right place at the right time.

I found his on Cycle Trader for him. I think they had it listed at $3800, there was a $200 dealer fee of some sort, and then PA sales tax. It was new, non ABS.

Sales tax is extra here but pretty low. $3800 is great. Some dealer took a hit - normally that is left for private owners.

I think there was some cash on the seat from Honda as an incentive that they passed along to my dad.

$4500 seems reasonable to me if that includes any freight and setup.

I forgot about the Honda Bucks that I think were $300 on the Forza. It more than washes the sales tax. My dealer charges a straight $200 for all fees.
