Thats a great price, I paid close to the for the rear tire alone.
Very tempting to get a set spare, As I use the bike every day it won't be too long till I need them.

Sounds cheep, but i notice they are summer tyres?
Would you have to change them in the winter?
Is that the correct size for a PCX?
And how many miles do the standard tyres last before they need to be replaced?
Thanks
Pony

No, they are for year round use, or as much of the year as you feel safe with.
Scooters and snow and ice isn't a happy blend on any tyre.

Yes.

My first rear lasted less than 5000 miles, my second one seems to be doing a little bit better but it won't be much.
My original front is looking like it should last at least 12,000 miles, maybe more.

my rear was worn at 5000 miles. Have 10,000 miles now and the front tire has plenty of tread left on the sides, but the middle track is at the wear bars.

There are no winter tires in the sizes for the PCX yet.

That's what I've done for the last 6000km or so, works great!

Well I ordered a pair and once my current ones are worn down some more I am hoping to use the 4x2 and zip-tie method as outlined in the "How-To" section.

Update...

My tyres arrived today, just three days since ordering them which is pretty good for a free service i.m.o.
Would definitely use Oponeo again :)

Does this website ship tires to the USA?

I think it's just Europe, you would have to ask them.
There's bound to be other cheap tyre suppliers based in the US though...?

Actually, I did find a decent supplier for the US after I posted that reply. :)

For anyone in the US looking for replacement tires:

There used to be a listing from them on Amazon.com for OEM tyres at $30ish but alas no more, more like $50 these days.

Here's the front tire on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/IRC-SS560-Front-S ... 90%2F90-14

and the rear: http://www.amazon.com/IRC-SS560-Rear-Sc ... 00%2F90-14

They're both still through motorcycle-superstore though.
