Sorry about your situation....but honestly - Amherst, Mass. was my favorite residence of all time. Better than Florida, better than SoCal....OK, NOT better than the 4 yrs I spent in Paris going to highschool....but in Mass. we rode my little Honda all over heck and back with my young wife on the back. We had no money but still had an absolute blast.
