Do windshields make your scooter go a little faster? Like I plan on buying a givi windshield and i was just wondering would the windshield effect performance.... Like will it make the scooter a little more aerodynamic lol

I would say so when I brought my pcx it come with a givi windshield
I didn't like the look of it so I swapped it out with the stock one
I noticed a difference in performance the bike was
A bit quicker with the windshield and top end it was 1-2 mph faster not to much difference

Honestly is that true?

I have a cat.
My cat has four legs and a tail
All cats have four legs and a tail
I have a dog
It has four legs and a tail
Therefore my dog is a cat

Yes slow is a relative term. It only has meaning compared to something else.

Having four legs and a tail are absolute terms. It is quantized.

My Elite 80 is slower than my Forza. Both are slower than a Burgman 650. A cat with three legs is usually slower than one with four.

How much you weigh will affect the PCX's top speed about as much as the windshield. None of them are much less aerodynamic than a rider not in full-tuck, so you likely won't see many gains or losses unless you're comparing to going downhill with a tailwind in a full tuck. :P

this how the explain
How Do I Fit a National Cycle Windshield to My Bike?
National Cycle makes a wide range of windshield sizes and styles. Windshield height is a personal preference, but one recognized standard is to be able to look just over the top of your windshield to see the road at a distance of 50 feet in front of you.

Safe Viewing Distance

Generally, this means that a correctly sized windshield mounted to your bike will have a top edge that is horizontally level with the tip of your nose ,or just slightly below eye level.
