Hi,

Just arrived at my backyard, a new Black PCX 2015. Test drive it, very smooth riding. The shock absorber is also very good. Afte 60+ km, fuel consumption is 57.1 km/l. It's very nice for a 150cc scooter.

I really love this new friend.

However, I need a backrest for my tandem passenger. After browsing some available backrest at the internet, I wonder how it would like to be on my scoot before I buy it.

Is someone here can share a pic of the all new PCX with it's tandem passenger backrest put on? Thanks so much before!

Here's a photo of my new friend:

Someone posted a pic of a replacement seat with a built-in passenger backrest - not sure of the link now but it was from one of the usual Thailand suppliers on the forum.

There are also a lot of us who have purchased Givi tailboxes, which passengers use as a backrest. Givi even sells a back rest pad to attach to the tailboxes.
i think i also saw a passenger backrest at Webike.

Where's the op? (original poster), Hey, if you're still interested, I found a backrest for the PCX passenger here: http://www.shadonline.com/category-s/256.htm
With fitment details (in several languages) here: http://www.shad.es/descargas/shad4899.pdf

Hope all is good :P

I like the way the Shad backrest looks, and it seems higher than the other chrome backrest. Has anyone installed this? Is it fairly simple? I read the instructions and it seems like I only need to drill two holes. Thanks!

Hey dude! Shad backrest is a great choice, I've installed it a few weeks ago and it's really simple. 2 holes, and its done. Just make sure the holes are on the correct position, and try to make them as tight as possible ;)
