Does anyone want to try a puig shield. A very nice PCX forum member mailed the shield to me, to try. I have a Givi DT. The Puig did not work out, as I am 6', so if there are any members who would want to try it or need it, I can mail to you. (no charge for the sheld, it was given to me, and in turn will give to another PCX er. ).

Why didn't the Puig work for you at 6' ?

I'm the same height and have the same screen inbound. Now I'm a little worried.

wind over top of screen once hits a certain speed. probably go with the givi tall at some point. For now I put the Givi DT back on, it's OK up to about 45 then the wind pushes right into helmet and under my chin.
scooty probably designed for small stature folks.

the Puig is slightly shorter than my Givi DT.

Anyone who wants it, it's yours, courtesy of Indy, and I'll pay postage, only if you'll use it. !

Was the wind buffeting worse with the Puig than with the stock screen?

I would love to try a new shield! If it doesn't work out for me I'm definitely willing to bring the same offer forward: send it to a new potential owner out of my own pocket.

I have a 2015, does that make a difference?

I am not 100% certain but i believe the 2015 is so completely different that the windscreen for 2013 and older will not fit it.

Yeah looking in my service manual, the diagrams for the two version's windshields suggest that they are totally incompatible. Bummer

That was me, and thank you! I will try it, review it, and pass it on if I won't use it.

Vamoots - if it doesn't work out for you I may be interested in it for my 2011 model. I'd certainly pay the shipping cost.
