Ya'll read that member wilbur just won himself a Red 2011 PCX 125 by entering his dealer's contest. He wasn't even looking to do so, but gave it a shot anyway. BAM! He gets a call later on and wins it That's Sa...weet!

It got me to thinking. I won something sizable once, it was a bicycle. A similar story to wilbur's. I brought my car into be serviced, they had a Red bike on the floor with whitewall tires and seat. They told me to enter. I laughed 'n'said, I never win anything! (Sound familiar?)
I entered a form into their goldfish bowl and left the shop. Came back later, picked up my Cougar and went home. Phone rang a short while later with gent telling me I won. There ya have it!
I won a bike! See that Wilbur, IT CAN HAPPEN!

Here it is, my Red Win back in the late 80's! Says Sport on it. I'll be dang if I can read the rest. (My 10 speed is lurking nearby)

Here's the Sym scoot I won at my local club last May. They gave away ten.

I told the staff I was there to win a scooter and did just that. .

Traded it three weeks later for my PCX150.

Rarely does that happen when it comes to politics.

This last election, we won 56 out of 59 seats.

I have only won what was needed, when it was needed. As an example, we were short one week by $100 because we had an emergency for one of our dogs. I bought a lottery ticket for $1, which I paid for with change in my car's ashtray. I won exactly $100 with that lottery ticket. That has been the story of my life. If i don't absolutely need it, i won't win it. But that's fine.

Just under 39 years ago I paid $100 more for a car than I really wanted to. Two days later I won $100 worth of gas from my local station. I considered it breaking even.

I'm exactly the opposite. When I have $100 extra, a $100 cost conveniently shows up (e.g. car battery or alternator died).

I won a guess the weight of the pig competition when I was a kid at our local gala day. The prize was 3lb of bacon!
