Hi All,

Quick query..
Once I've turned off my PCX, after the 20mi+ commute, it seems to make a ticking sound, coming from the engine/exhaust.
It never makes this sound when I'm riding or anything, merely when I've turned the engine off, and the bike is parked up after the commute. [A lot of 50mph roads..]

See I'm no mechanic [nor mechanically minded for that matter] but could anyone advise? It may well be that I'm being a moron..

Most likely just the expansion/contraction of the exhaust as it heats up....normal

Quite normal, it's just the engine,exhaust cooling down.

Think my presumption about the moronic nature of my question was correct after all
