Removal of underseat storage compartment

My coolant reservoir is leaking and I'm trying to get the storage compartment out so I can access it. I have removed the seat and 4 machine bolts from the bottom/front of the compartment. Also removed 2 screws up front on the sides. It doesn't seem any looser than it was before I started. Anybody know what the heck is holding that thing in there?

Welcome to the forums!

Perhaps a look at this "how to" thread will help:

Yikes, you guys are awesome.
I had the 2 screws out in the back wing but didn't gin up the nerve to "pry up gently". I'd also like to check the "suspension tutorial" to take the short cut, and report back on my results.
Thanks! I'll be donating to the cause.

Operation went smoothly. No hassles. Great tutorial. Found the nipple for the hose that goes to the radiator was broken. New tank, including delivery, $12 at local Honda dealer. Also found the reason, and posted a caution on another thread dealing with coolant and reserve tanks.
Thanks again!

Dantheman, i had the same problem with the nipple breaking off. Now that i have the new coolant tank, i wanted to see if i needed to brace the tank to prevent movement. The tank seems to be firmly in place so i ended up not stuffing any padding around it. Do you think that the tank is actually moving enuf to break the nipple? Should i put in the padding?

Minister, check my post on the thread "Coolant for PCX125" from Monday 8-17 (I'm not savvy enough to be able to send you that thread!) It explains what happened on mine and what my fix was. Make that simple visual check from below and if it looks good you're probably OK.
Nonetheless, a little padding probably wouldn't hurt anyway.

Thanks, homie. Copy/paste.....I may have done that before with email.
(Hey, gimme a break, man, I'm old)
So, in this thread, for example, I would copy the bold green title "Removal of underseat...." at the top, right?
(What do you expect from a guy who grew up in Chicago. La Grange. How 'bout you?)

Bolingbrook, but I came here from Florida. I think windows 10 might piss me off, maybe I'm getting old too but fight it, you're only as old as your avatar online, no one cares.
