Yes...a Jimi Hendrix song, and a strain of cannabis. The Scoot is named after the song, not the plant.

Not a pothead, never touched the stuff, but the name seemed to fit, and I like the song...Hendrix was a musical genius.

Do the local authorities give you any grief for that lighting? I've been looking at these kits for a while on flea-bay.
Definite visibility improvement.

I bought a kit of LED Glow in purple haze and then realized what you see in honkerman's picture ;) That you have limited effect other than wheel wells with our cowlings and fairings. I will put them aside for any future open structured motorcycle. But they are very interesting.

So long as no blue or red lights are facing forward, no, not here in PA. It's actually written into the PA vehicle code. Some other states don't like it, hence the toggle switch inside the bucket.

I think the engine glow is cool, but yeah, you don't need a lot of lights. I only have six strips on mine total.

What I really want to do is turn the empty Euro "turn signals" into amber markers.
