This will work well, i have a 2 x 2" square under my keys so they dont scratch when swinging. Invisible....

I still have to get some of that ^^ so my side bags won't mar the bikes finish. Good idea for under the key area too!
It's been sitting in my Amazon bin waiting for the buy, and Dang! I just ordered a guardian bell! Next time, sigh.
What would we all do without Amazon and WallyWorld (Walmart)? Really!

I learned to lift my leg up higher during dismounts early on - those damn scuff marks will never fully go away

that's my trick. My leg swings out like the karate kid to mount my scoot!

It's called helicopter tape, and is available cheaply on eBay. I've got it all over the rub points of my bikes.

My wife and I have reached that point in our lives where we can no longer swing our legs over the seat to get on, so the scuff marks are normal for us. I use Novus #1 Plastic Clean and Shine to take the marks off. They come right off.

The difference in other tape and the stuff I recommended is the Xpel has a self healing feature, so if you nick it, a day or two later the nick is virtually goneā¦
Google Xpel......used on many high line cars as an invisible bra.
